HISTORY
Golden Eagle Insurance was founded by William Jones in 1995 and quickly became one of the largest providers of specialty lending and deposit related products in the Midwest. Bill graduated with a degree in engineering and economics from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York and had tours of duty in Germany and in the Persian Gulf with the U.S. Army. These experiences gave him the people and organizational skills necessary to form a company that could serve the banking and financial institution industry. Golden Eagle Insurance spent its first year in a one room basement, but is now blessed to own an office building near Columbus, Ohio. Golden Eagle’s extremely high customer retention rate and sound financial footing are the main reason that the company continues to grow at a steady but manageable pace.

EXPERIENCE
Combining employees with past insurance and banking experiencing that include large insurance companies, smaller service insurance agencies, community banks, and credit unions has formed a great mix of past histories that has allowed us to serve all of our financial institutions and related industries extremely well. We understand the bigger picture issues that our customers deal with on a daily basis, and we understand our customer’s loan departments, loan procedures and delinquency/collection issues. Based on our own collective expertise and on our customer’s needs we design products specifically to protect collateral, eliminate administrative procedures, and create additional income while reducing charge offs; all of which increase your net income.

PHILOSOPHY
Golden Eagle’s basic philosophy can be summed up in the phrases “Treat others as you want to be treated”, and “Long term thinking creates long lasting relationships”. We strive to provide excellent customer service which includes promptly returned phone calls, quick answers to questions, understandable explanations when things get confusing and trusting our customers like we would like them to trust us. We want to be known for our integrity and for being a sound, stable company that’s in business for the long run.
